Traditional Kiln Fired Black Salt
Black Salt or Kala namak is a kiln-fired salt made by the traditional process of firing the raw sambhar salt in a kiln or furnace for 24 hours while sealed in a ceramic jar with charcoal along with ancient herbs like harad seeds, amla, bahera & babul bark to imbibe certain therapeutic properties to it. All the fired ingredients melts through a chemical reaction and the salt is then cooled, stored, and aged prior to ready for consumption
